Happy Wednesday, dear friend and reader,
Whenever August arrives, it hits me that the year is already winding down. It marks the end of summer fun for the kids and the beginning of another busy season for both kids and parents. I also start thinking about all the things we haven’t done yet.
Like camping.
We’ve talked about going all summer, and we finally penciled in some dates—but now it’s supposed to rain. We could definitely use the moisture, especially with the fires, but I was still hoping for a few more pool days and fewer rainy ones.
We’ll see how much outdoor time we can squeeze in while still appreciating the rain. We really do need it.
What are some things you still want to fit into your summer before it ends?
Now onto books….

Below, I’ve listed all the reasons these two can’t help but fall in love.
A legitimate Date is Book 1 in the standalone series.
Fall in love with The Billionaires’ Reunion Christian Romance series while catching up with the big Stone Family as they reunite in their scenic small-town.There’s several seasons of love and adventure in this spin off series following Eric Stone’s siblings from The CEO’s companion in the caregiver series. With each family member taking a turn to coordinate a family gathering, there’s plenty of laughter, tears and Happily Ever Afters. (You don’t need to have read The Caregiver series first to enjoy this series.)

A Brand New Christian Romance from Kim Griffin
I can see myself falling so obnoxiously in love with her that my family would force me to move anyway.
Plagued by the memory of her ex’s voice and the sting of her recent firing, Makenna Fore flees to Scotland on the vacation of her dreams. She expects stunning views, lots of history, some sheep, and maybe even a kilt or two. What she did not expect was to land in the hospital. Even more, she would never think she’d end up in her doctor’s care afterwards.
She’s a single mom, not looking for a relationship. He’s a single man in possession of a good fortune, ready to fall in love.
Melissa:
Before the flight to my daughter’s destination wedding even leaves the ground, I have a claustrophobic episode. I’m saved by the handsome stranger sitting next to me. I don’t expect to ever see him again once the plane lands, but Hawaii is smaller than I thought.
God bless you and thanks again for being one of my greatest inspiration!
With love,
Rose Fresquez
